TT3-Thomas Tower

The Thomas TT3 Tower system serves as a lifting medium for a variety of JTE truss (30.5 x 30.5 cm to heavy-duty). It provides support for truss rigs when flying points are not strong enough or in the wrong place. Each tower can lift up to 2 tons (incl. self-weight of truss rig and motors) to a height of 10 metres. Truss rigs are raised and lowered via a double fall electric hoist within the truss (passing over roller beam at top of tower). The tower features a specially designed hinge section that allows horizontal assembly of towers at truss top level, then swung down and locked in a vertical operating position. Main chords are 50 x 4mm and diagonals 25 x 3mm. All components are made from 6082-T6 aluminium and feature bolted construction for the elimination of issues related to weld heat affected zones.
